Producer Namit Malhotra became emotional while addressing the audience at a special Mumbai screening of ‘Ramayana: Part 1’. Speaking after the screening, he described the film as his “heartbeat” and thanked everyone involved in bringing the ambitious project to life. He also spoke about the significance of finally presenting the film to audiences.

A video shared by Filmy Duniya showed Namit Malhotra addressing the gathering towards the end of the screening. He described the occasion as an important milestone for the team and expressed happiness about being able to present the film to the Mumbai audience before its wider release.“It’s a big day. I believe that we’re doing this, you know, it’s actually happening or that we are actually literally releasing it from the top of our hands. It’s in the world,” he said.The producer also mentioned how the team had managed to return in time for the event. “I’m glad that we’ve been able to make it back in time so we can show this to you all before the world starts to see it,” Namit said.Namit explained that he wanted to personally address everyone before the screening concluded. Reflecting on the moment, he said, “So, well, I just thought, you know, before we close this out. I come and speak to you all for a few minutes.”He then acknowledged the work that went into creating the film. Taking to X, the content creator Ashish Chanchlani , after watching the Mumbai premiere, described ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ as a film of “truly epic proportions”.He particularly appreciated the visual presentation and large-scale action sequences. Ashish also praised the performances of the lead cast, while identifying director Nitesh Tiwari as one of the film’s biggest strengths.Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is produced by Namit Malhotra and Yash. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The ensemble also includes Ravie Dubey, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Vivek Oberoi and Anupam Kher.
